How do I configure ZeroOut?
This section shows the information and details of the current activity of ZeroOut in your online store. Shows the number of the Jobs in Queue, Currently executing, Products hidden on the last day and Products published on the last day.
Here, you can see and configure whether the app is currently controlling or managing the visibility of the products in your store, also the redirects(be explained below), if configured, will depend on the Current Status.
In this section, you will be able to decide and configure whether the out-of-stock product(s) will be hidden via ZeroOut. Though there will be some exemptions on whether a product will be hidden or not through tagging them with "zero_out_no_hide" in the Shopify Admin Page. Please refer to this article for more information about the tag
ZeroOut also gives you an option in this section to create or not create a redirect page for the hidden products. You may choose between the Store's Home Page, which will let the hidden product's URL, redirect you to the Homepage of the online store, another option is to create or input a Custom location. Please take note that for the Custom Location, the URL must be valid and must have the format shown:(https://www.example.com).
When a product is hidden, ZeroOut will let you choose the status that will be shown on the Shopify Admin Page.
You can choose between:
Going to this section, you will be able to configure whether in-stock products will be published or not in the online store. If you wish to publish them, then you may choose which product(s) will be published given the states(Active, Draft, Archived) that they have. Note that you may select more than one product state. Also, you may require the product(s) to have an image before being published.
You may also choose to select whether a product(s) with inventories that are not managed by Shopify is to be excluded from the entire activity.
After configuring the app, an email will be sent to the registered email address about the changes made to the products in the online store using ZeroOut. To receive emails, input a valid email address as shown in the image below.
For multiple email addresses, you must separate them with a comma, and don't forget to click the 'Save Changes' button.
To run a Cleanup Job in the current store, go to 'Dashboard' and under 'Current Activity' you will see the 'Start Cleanup' button.
After hitting the button, a pop-up message will appear informing that "The information has been updated".
